A well informed consumer is our best customer. Below are some FAQs and links that you might find helpful in making your cold storage decision:
Do I need an appointment to pick up or deliver?
Yes. Sodus is an appointment driven warehouse. In order to better serve all of our customers and not delay any trucks, we require that carriers call for an appointment time at least 24 hours in advance.
What are your normal operating hours?
We are open to load or unload starting at 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
What if I need to pick up or deliver after normal operating hours?
We will be open outside of our normal hours with advance notice and additional fees may apply to cover overtime costs.
Do you offer a drop trailer program?
We do allow carriers to drop trailers in out yard after hours or on a weekend at no cost; however we do not have a secured yard so we cannot assume any liability for the trailer or its contents. We do require that you provide advance notice of your intent to leave a trailer in the yard so we can coordinate where to park it.
How will I know when my order has been picked up or delivered?
When your truck has been completed, an email will be send to you or your designee, indicating the time of completion and order number.
What kind of reporting can I expect to receive?
Reports can be emailed or faxed to you at any time on demand or on a routine schedule of your choosing. Options may include but are not limited to: Month End Stock Status, Stock Status by Product Group, Aged Stock Status, Transaction Detail, Lot History, etc.
